What You’ll Be Doing:
- Demonstrating knowledge of technical accounting duties involving the maintenance and reporting of financial accounting data.
- Observing, monitoring, collecting, and recording accounts payables data and assessing accuracy, validity, and integrity.
- Coordinating and administering program activities and protocols; managing resources, monitoring activities, and assessing risks and quality control associated with the program.
- Preparing documentation and creating financial reports.
- Verifying and ensuring accuracy and validity of moderately complex transactions and examining accounting records to assure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Explaining and interpreting accounts payables information.
- Reviewing, investigating, and resolving complex billing problems.
- Developing and maintaining databases to assist in monitoring accounts payables and administrative activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting/Finance emphasis. MBA and/or CPA desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years in an AP position.
- Supervisory background helpful.
- Oracle knowledge.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and other administrative procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to perform AP analysis and make projections.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet various timelines for start-up and month-end closing.
