Johnson Feed Inc. (JFI) is seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in North Sioux City, SD. If you’re a skilled technician passionate about keeping diesel engines running at peak performance, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and components used in various vehicles and equipment.
- Troubleshoot Cummins, Detroit, and Cat engines to ensure peak performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and perform necessary repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with breaks, suspensions, hydraulics, and reefer units (preferred but not required).
- Communication effectively with peers, foreman, and the service team regarding repairs and maintenance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in diesel mechanics (technical degree or certification a plus).
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and excellence.
