JOB SUMMARY: Maintain, upgrade, and support technology network and server infrastructure for all locations at Johnson Ferry. Oversee helpdesk functions and provide tier 2 support. Manage end-user device life cycle and refresh process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor, administer and support various campus network infrastructure and servers in coordination with the Network Engineer.
- Build, manage and deploy network infrastructure, servers and applications as required.
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, upgrades and deployments as needed.
- Manage end-user device life and refresh processes.
- Deploy and maintain special-purpose desktop systems and associated applications (i.e., AV presentation machines, kiosks, and audio/video editing stations).
- Oversee helpdesk operations and provide tier 2 helpdesk support as needed.
- Develop end user documentation and provide training as required.
- Provide emergency on-call support as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all regular staff meetings, functions, retreats, training, etc.
- Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

- Critical Skills
- Functional knowledge of Windows operating system (Windows 11, Windows Server), Mac operating system, Apple IOS, PC and Mac network connectivity, network printing, Mac management systems, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Exchange, SQL server, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Cisco switching and routing.
- Flexible work hours are required with occasional weekend or on-call support.
- Highly organized and able to effectively multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Handles all sensitive information with the greatest possible confidentiality and care.
- Works flexibly with a variety of personalities.
- High attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2 experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- 1 year(s) experience directing, supervising, or managing others or leading a project
- Cisco and Microsoft certifications desirable.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Ability to lift up and carry 50 or more pounds
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Physically able to work inside and outside in various weather conditions
