JOB SUMMARY: Provide customers of The Provision Café with excellent customer service and quality products in a Christ-centered, friendly, upbeat and clean environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, offering to help, explaining menu and options, and accurately take orders.
- Properly and promptly prepare food and beverages in accordance with The Provision Café standards.
- Ability to clearly communicate knowledge about daily menu availability and pricing, ingredients and preparation techniques for all food and beverages served.
- Perform cleaning tasks following health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in general organization and daily operations of all areas associated with The Provision Café.
- Replenish supplies as required.
- Ability to open/close The Provision Café.
- Efficiently and accurately operate cash register.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

- Barista experience using a semi-automatic espresso machine.
- Food Service experience.
- ServSafe certification.
REASONING ABILITIES/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing duties of this job, employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
