Position: Staff Physical Therapist Assistant - part time

Specialty: Neuro/Dizziness&Balance

Setting: Outpatient private practice 

Location: Huntsville, AL

Compensation: Pay per unit/visit

What we treat.

 

We are looking for a therapist with an interest/passion in treating a neurologic population focusing on vestibular rehabilitation and balance training for patients with diagnoses affecting the three balance systems and central neurologic diagnoses.

We maintain one-on-one treatment sessions when working with this specific caseload and understand how valuable time is with patients so they can receive the best care available. Exceptional clinical outcomes are bolstered by ensuring patients see the same therapist or therapist team from the beginning to the end of their treatment. 

 

We come alongside our therapists during their professional growth journey, offering specialty certifications and individualized professional development.

License & Experience

 

Requirements for this position include the following: 

  • Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapy assistant program 

  • Active or pending state physical therapist assistant license

  • Maintain caseload diversity with a review of Prediction Health data to help identify areas of growth potential 

  • Review and discuss “components of a successful note” from Prediction Health 

  • Receive regular checkpoints, communication, and guidance through professional challenges 

  • Receive additional onboarding with online WebPT Tutorials 

  • Education and review of effective billing practices 

  • Front office tutorial 

  • Mentoring with owners of J&H reviewing mission/values
