Summary / objective of position :
The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for Johnson Investment Counsel. This individual is responsible for answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, receiving and distributing mail, plus assisting with maintaining conference rooms and office supplies.
Essential functions of position :
- Provide high level client care which includes :
- Receiving and processing incoming calls
- Assisting with documents and check drop off
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and conference rooms
- Maintain daily conference room calendar and assign rooms for meetings
- Provide oversight of employee workroom :
- Maintaining stock of office supplies and marketing collateral materials
- Understand equipment and trouble shoot items such as copier, postage machine, etc.
- Receive and distribute all incoming mail, deliveries, courier items and publications
- Process outgoing mail and shipments
- Offer support to other departments through various projects
- Assist with in-house lunches and client events

Work environment : Temperature controlled, office environment.
Physical demands : Must be able to stand or sit at computer for 8 hours per day. May require extensive typing at times.
