At Johnson & Johnson, we all belong.The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial leadership, support and analysis to several key early and late-stage development compounds within the Oncology Therapeutic Area. The position is responsible for all financial aspects related to the projects and functional budgets for their assigned compounds.Responsibilities:
- Proactively partner with Compound Development Teams (CDT) and Project Management Teams (PMT) to align financial targets, analyze the value of project investments, and address business issues
- Manage all aspects of financial updates including Business Plan and Long Range Financial Plan and ensure the accuracy and compliance of monthly forecasting and closing cycles
- Pipeline valuation models for their compounds, which includes partnering with CDT/PMT, Commercial, Global Strategic Marketing, Operations and Tax
- Support of Cross-Pharmaceutical Portfolio Reviews and ad-hoc valuation support to key stakeholders across the Pharmaceutical R&D, Operations and Strategic Marketing organization
- Partner with Business Development in support of External Innovation and L&A/M&A projects
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years finance or related business experience is required.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries as well as public accounting is preferred.
- Must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
- The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
- The ability to navigate through ambiguity is required.
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously is required.
- This position can be located in Spring House, PA, Raritan, NJ, or Titusville, NJ. This role may require up to 10% travel.
Salary : $76,000 - $121,900
