Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for an Associate Customer Development Manager (Multiple openings) supporting the FCDO (Field Customer Development Organization) Customers. These positions can be based out of Fort Washington, PA or Skillman, NJ.

Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc, a division of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc., provides sales, marketing and logistical services to U.S. retail customers on behalf of the U.S. consumer companies. It represents one point of contact with our customers for selling teams, customer service, distribution, retail merchandising and professional detailing. It develops and markets baby care, oral care, wound care and skin care products that address the needs of consumer and healthcare professionals and incorporates the latest innovations. The portfolio includes heritage brands JOHNSON'S® Baby, Listerine, BAND-AID® TYLENOL® Brands as well as leading Skin Health brands such as NEUTROGENA®, AVEENO® and more.

The Associate Customer Development Manager will be responsible for leading the growth strategy across key FCDO customers. These individuals’ responsibilities includes developing the Customer joint growth strategies, elevating the shopper experience throughout their purchase cycle, building FCDO capabilities and implementing key strategies across these diverse customers. They will be directly accountable for achieving Customer growth targets along with delivering other metrics within the Customer Development framework. The Associate Customer Development Manager will have direct ownership of the Business at these customers. This individual will have to collaborate strongly with key internal and external partners on other supporting strategies to deliver growth targets.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering growth targets including Shipments, POS and Budget Management
  • Developing and executing business plans that deliver sales growth through various strategies including assortment, promotional, pricing and omni-channel areas
  • Deliver enhanced measurement and analytics - Utilize business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at senior levels
  • Crafting impactful, insights-based presentations to translate our objectives into customer strategy
  • Utilize internal and customer business systems to lead and improve growth plans
  • Serving as “voice of customer” to the company to address customer needs and accomplish goals and objectives (3 Year Business Planning, BAP Process)
  • Influencing across the organization to ensure full alignment to the customer/company business plan and drive long-term business objectives
  • Shaping emerging talent within the team
  • Complying with company policies and procedures always

Qualifications
  • 4-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
  • At least 4 years of experience in a consumer package goods environment required
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (directly calling on the customer or in any support capacity) is required
  • Ability to interpret and communicate sophisticated business data, including various performance metrics
  • Ability to prioritize and to effectively lead multiple projects/initiatives
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Ability to lead challenges and negotiate successfully
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish links
  • Strong digital literacy, including MS Office Suite applications, sales database, and web applications
  • There will be up to 25% travel required of this role depending on the incumbent’s home location
