The Associate Director Medical Affairs is the primary clinical/medical representative for new product development projects. The main responsibilities include being the medical core team member on all product development project teams. In this capacity, the incumbent is responsible for generating the preclinical & clinical evidence strategy to support clinical claims and participates in characterizing the product's capabilities and clinical workflows in collaboration with the Marketing, R&D, and other development team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Associate Franchise Medical Director will work with Medical Business Partner to; R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality & Regulatory Compliance, Pre-Clinical, Health Economics & Market Access and Professional Medical Education.
- He or she will ensure the development and execution of product and/or procedural evidence generation and dissemination strategies.
- The Associate Franchise Medical Director will be supporting early product introduction to the market supporting launches as well as internal & external training.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
