Johnson & Johnson Innovation Medicine, a division of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting a Co-Op to build out a knowledge graph to support our research and development projects.Johnson & Johnson Research & Development, LLC. discovers and develops creative large molecule solutions to address meaningful unmet medical needs in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, infectious diseases and vaccines, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven undergraduate student to join our team as a co-op or intern, offering assistance and support in creating a application to interact with our knowledge graph hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in working with our team (Data Integration and Predictive Technologies) to build material genealogy research and data visualizations, contributing to the development of an innovative application. The main goal of this project is to design and develop a python application to connect with our AWS hosted knowledge graph, enabling the mapping out of material genealogy to start. By leveraging AWS services, the application will store and analyze data, allowing users to visualize and explore the relationships between different materials in terms of their origin, composition, and manufacturing processes. This application aims to provide an enhanced understanding of the materials used in our business, facilitating decision-making, supporting biotherapeutics development project teams.

- Second- or third-year Science or Engineering undergraduate student with demonstrated python development / coding / application building skills.Mandatory python development / skills.Preferred experience working with graph databases and domino or AWS environments.Experience in biopharmaceuticals is preferred but not necessary.
- Skills, experience and/or working knowledge of Python, Knowledge Graph, AWS, Coding, Git, Domino, application development, Neptune DB, Programming, Genealogy
- Proven written and oral communication skills a must.
- Candidates must be motivated, highly organized, and able to lead multiple tasks.
- Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team.
