About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) professional to lead our EH&S organization for J&J Innovative Medicine's New Drug Substance plant. As EH&S Lead, you will be responsible for deploying, leading, and implementing EH&S strategies, policies, plans, and procedures for the campus. Your primary goal is to ensure the EH&S team takes all necessary precautions to guarantee continuous, reliable, and compliant supply chain, research, and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the EH&S program for the New Drug Substance plant, including design, construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
- Develop and implement EH&S strategies, policies, and procedures based on global and local needs.
- Lead a team of EH&S professionals to meet the company's EH&S goals.
- Build effective collaboration with internal customers and influence leadership for alignment.
- Monitor and analyze EH&S performance indicators and adjust direction as needed.
