The Fellow Architect of Global Finance is a critical role in reimaging and helping teams execute on our Finance capabilities of the future. From deep strategic planning expertise and finance domain experience, this role serves as a team contributor and collaborator across strategy, product roadmaps and execution governance to ensure we are building the right capabilities the right way that drive business precision and analytics for financial planning and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver robust solution architectures aligned with Enterprise Architecture guidelines
- Communicate complex technical decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Champion reusable, composable, and scalable components while ensuring compliance with security and data governance
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to align technical implementations with architectural standards, enhancing speed to value
- Design data platforms and products that meet business needs and adapt to evolving models
- Monitor industry trends in data architecture to proactively address future requirements
- Provide guidance on architectural matters, focusing on detailed solution architectures and integration strategies
- Facilitate alignment between business objectives and IT initiatives across product teams
- Partner with technology and product owners to refine technical backlogs based on business value and resource feasibility
- Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor resource utilization in product deployment
- Advocate for modern technologies and establish best practices for secure, efficient implementations
- Ensure security by integrating threat modeling into architecture to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with all frameworks
- Develop a data governance framework to define data ownership, access control, and quality standards
- Promote data analytics for improved decision-making and establish integration standards across business plans
- Coach and mentor architects and product teams to cultivate architectural thinking and skills
