Global Commercial Strategy Associate Director, Cardiovascular – Janssen Global Services, LLC
Janssen Global Services, LLC is recruiting for an Associate Director, CVM within the Global Commercial Strategy Organization located in Somerville, NJ.
The Global Commercial Strategy Associate Director, Cardiovascular is responsible for developing differentiated commercial strategies to optimize the value of our global CV portfolio, in collaboration with key functions across the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO), Janssen Research and Development, and Janssen business regions.
Key Responsibilities:I. Global Commercial Readiness: The role is for a strong marketing manager who is able to lead and participate on cross-functional and alliance teams, gain alignment and drive decision making with alliance / regional commercial colleagues on commercial strategy and tactical plans.
- Be responsible for the Value Excellence framework with global partners including market access, medical affairs and the VX team.
- Develop and lead indication specific market development activities to support positioning and messaging for launch readiness and Go-to-Market strategies.
- Support interactions with alliance commercial partners for milvexian ensuring priorities are achieved for targeted indications.
- Facilitate collaboration across all functions including clinical, regulatory, CMC, supply chain, market access, commercial excellence, pricing, medical affairs and internal communications.
- Serve as a facilitator of best practice sharing within and across regions and alliance partners.
II. Support Phase III Execution: The role requires the ability to understand, interpret and communicate commercial implications of complex technical/clinical/regulatory data and must have a keen understanding of clinical data to engage R&D colleagues on scientific issues related to overall phase III clinical trial design and strategy.
- Provide commercial support for clinical development leader, across teams and related working groups for the success of the milvexian program.
- Support the development of indication specific insights for the regional members to optimize milvexian value proposition across regions
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Postgraduate qualification, PhD, MBA, or other graduate degree is strongly preferred.
Required:
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated in-line or global marketing experience
- An ability to balance multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and drive decision-making
- Proven written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a strong rationale for key decisions is required
- Experience in cardiovascular and/or thrombosis therapeutic market areas
- Senior brand responsibility, alliance management experience, people management, product launch, experience in working with global teams and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical development
- 25% Travel – national and/or international.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000-196,000.
