Organize projects for the IT development department. Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. Communicate with organizational leadership on project progress.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
- Guide project teams in agile processes and remove project roadblocks
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress
- Perform risk management to mitigate project risks
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project objectives
- Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Work with team and customer to develop project objectives and scope
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT, insurance, or business-related field preferred
- Experience with the Atlassian collaboration suite is a plus
- 2 years of experience in Project Management
