Johnson and Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Principal Software Engineer, AI/ML, within the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) JJT team. This position is based in Raritan or Titusville, NJ, site with the ability to come to Raritan once per week.
In the GCSO JJT product group, we work to maximize the competitive value of our global pipeline and portfolio by delivering impactful digital marketing and education, powering data-driven shaping of portfolio strategy, and amplifying organizational readiness for pipeline assets using technology.
As the Senior Principal Software Engineer, AI/ML, you will lead the shaping and hands-on development of AI/ML solutions globally. You will work with product managers, business partners, and others to define ML, AI, and data engineering approaches and lead engineering teams to understand, design, and implement systems that are robust, highly scalable, fault tolerant, and of the highest quality. In this global role, you will focus on enabling commercial success across regions and/or prior to in-market launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a hands-on technical lead to conceive, design, build, and implement cross-organization, cross-TA scalable analytics solutions in partnership with Data Engineering and Data Science teams
- Hold a leadership role in strategy, architecture, and engineering of end-to-end AI/ML pipelines
- Use AI/ML to design, develop and deliver scalable data pipelines that process large datasets and provide insights and recommendations to optimize development and operations of engagement.ai solutions and pipelines
- Optimize data solutions and infrastructure for improved performance, reliability, and cost savings.
- Become a trusted partner to partner analytics teams through understanding disease area priorities, uncovering unmet needs, and pro-actively finding opportunities for innovation
- Effectively navigate technological, analytical, legal, and privacy complexities to achieve objectives
- Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships and facilitate organizational change required to ensure success and business impact
- Build external and internal relationships to remain current on the latest AI/ML advancements, both within and outside healthcare, to help advance the organization to the forefront of health AI innovation
