The Thought Leader Liaison Cardiovascular-Metabolism will be responsible for leading strategic partnerships directly with key customers, providing insights to the marketing team and executing customer-centric promotional tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of KOL engagement, faculty development and medical education strategy at the regional level. This includes oversight of program utilization, health care compliance training and other related activities as needed
- Developing and deploying unique regional customer-centric engagement tactics with key customers across CVM
- Closely coordinate regional medical education plans with customer facing teams in full alignment with brand strategy to ensure heightened customer engagement.
- The position requires close collaboration with home office marketing, regional sales, medical affairs and strict adherence to the HCC, legal, and regulatory guidelines for promotional activities.
- Leading the planning and deployment of “executive encounters” between key customers and Janssen CVM team leadership
- Closely monitor educational budget, faculty utilization and provide continuous feedback on business planning.
- Strictly adhere to the legal and regulatory guidelines for promotional medical education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required: advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum 8 years of healthcare industry experience is required
- 2 years of people leadership experience is strongly preferred
- 5 years of marketing or sales experience is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 or more years work experience in one or more of the following is required: District sales manager, health systems manager, thought leader management, marketing or clinical experience in the same or related therapeutic area with experience in creating marketing strategies, plans, and tactics preferred
- Strong track record of success as demonstrated through annual performance ratings and/or professional accomplishments and awards is required.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency is required
- Experience in the cardiovascular marketplace is required.
- Expertise in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships across an organization is required
- Experience in leading and executing business planning process is preferred.
- Experience in developing/executing regional medical education strategies is preferred.
- Experience with KOL and national faculty development and management development is preferred.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000 USD to $166,750 USD.
75% travel (50% with customers; 25% in the home office in Titusville, NJ)
