Johnson Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator.
We have a beautiful, modern office, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team, and a sincere orthodontist dedicated to quality care. We are looking to hire a new team member who is patient-oriented, hard-working, friendly, outgoing, and passionate about making a difference in patient’s lives. We’d love to have you join us in beautiful Rehoboth Beach – 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). No Fridays!

As Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for converting prospective patients into treatment starts by building relationships, overcoming objections, and presenting treatment plans with confidence and enthusiasm. Your ability to connect with patients, educate them on the benefits of orthodontic treatment, and grow our practice will be key to your success.

- Delaware radiology certification
Previous experience in orthodontics, dentistry, or sales is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate! Our current treatment coordinator, who has been with us for the past 14 years, has graciously agreed to mentor her replacement to ensure an easy and comfortable transition into the role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective patients for their initial consultation, ensuring they feel comfortable and welcome.
- Effectively communicate information about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.
- Educate patients on their financial options and insurance benefits.
- Deliver exceptional customer care by addressing patient needs, questions, or concerns respectfully, timely, and with comforting responses.
- Update and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Promote and advocate for our practice. Maintain contact via email and/or follow-up calls while treatment is being considered.
- Prepare letters to dentists summarizing Dr. Johnson’s findings and recommendations.
- Take photographs, digital scans, and x-rays.
