Landscape Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, tree care, and hardscape installation. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Execute tree care activities such as tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Assist in hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper soil preparation.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of tree care practices and plant identification is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions throughout the year.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
