Lawn Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to grounds keeping, mowing, and maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring that our clients' lawns and landscapes are healthy and aesthetically pleasing. The Lawn Technician will also be responsible for snow plowing during the winter months, providing year-round service.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular mowing and trimming of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
• Execute landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Assist with hardscape installation projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Irrigate lawns and gardens effectively to promote healthy growth.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or other landscaping features as needed.
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or grounds keeping is preferred.
• Familiarity with snow plowing techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license is required to operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $14 - $18 w/ potential performance bonuses

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
