Job description
We are looking for an effective Warehouse person to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution in our small warehouse. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. You will need a current driver's license and be able to easily lift 50#.
Responsibilities
- Strategically keep warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Help deliver Hot Tubs
- Oversee Company grounds
Skills
- Experience in warehouse procedures and best practices is a plus
- ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
