Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive - Food & Beverage to manage existing food & beverage customers in the United States while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can work remotely with minimal supervision and is eager to build a career in sales. The successful candidate will spend time traveling to customer sites, strengthening relationships, and identifying new applications and clients within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing food & beverage customers.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and applications within the industry.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Work independently to manage a sales territory and develop an effective strategy to meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, operations) to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to customers and management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the network.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, agreements, and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to management on business development activities, achievements, and challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Marketing, or related Field.
  • Prior sales and / or business development experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (preferred).
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development strategies.
