Basic Function:
Under limited supervision, customize crates per product specifications, using Air Nailers and other power tools as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assemble orders for shipment.
- Learn to utilize all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Customize Pallets and build Crates.
- Properly operate auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain clean and safe environment.
- Successfully complete forklift training.
- Complete daily checklists (Forklift, hoist, PMs, etc.)
- Driving a forklift inside and outside in all types of weather.
- Train to load and unload trucks.
- Must know and follow the quality policy and comply with all requirements of the quality systems manual.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Required Skills:
- Requires 2 years directly related experience in receiving.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to follow oral instructions.
- Ability to work with different types of materials such as wood or metal.
- Must be able to use standard measuring tools such as measuring tapes.
- Must be comfortable working with Air Nailers.
- Should be able to work closely with fellow employees.
- Ability to operate a forklift, or willing to be trained.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8AM – 6PM
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Material Handler: 2 years (Preferred)
