Job Description:
Working directly with the account, creative and social media teammates, the Sr. Social Media and Content Strategist bridges the worlds of traditional marketing and content strategy on ever-changing platforms. This role is both strategic and tactical and must be ready to jump in to tell the stories that matter on behalf of our clients and our agency. The ideal candidate is multi-dimensional: buttoned up, comfortable with conceptual thinking and presenting and is willing and ready to roll up their sleeves to get the work done. Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the success of paid social campaigns from inception to final reporting
· Manage day-to-day tasks across social clients and their respective channels including (but not limited to): scheduling content, channel monitoring, social media listening, and community engagement per individual client needs
· Manage workflow of content production in partnership with account & creative service teams, ensuring deliverables meet requirements and timelines
· Monitor report on content performance and audience analytics; create reports and add analysis to the data, identify key insights and provide strategic recommendations for both organic and paid social; create regular competitive audits to inform strategy
· Identify and develop real-time content based on social media trends and relevant social conversations, keeping our clients plugged into the right conversations at the right times
· Identify, source & negotiate contracts for influencer brand collaborators for an array of clients
· Manage and recommend strategic paid media efforts for clients as needed
· Serves as an internal and client facing thought leader, ready to help educate others on the ever-evolving platforms through informal content feedback, guidance and formal avenues (lunch and learns, emails, blogs, etc.)
· Managing and mentoring social media teammates to ensure best-in-class efforts are brought to life for all clients – we grow good
Requirements:
· You’ll have a minimum of 5 years of social media marketing experience for high-profile brands or organizations (agency experience preferred but not required)
· Has a bachelor’s degree in related field (marketing, advertising, communications), or equivalent & relevant work experience
· Is a hands-on team player with experience managing others
· Thrives in a collaborative environment
· Is a results-oriented human who is ready to drive actionable, measurable results
