Position Summary
This position provides Tier 1 support for employee computer hardware and software issues. Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs desktop/laptop computers, as well as network equipment. Provides personal computer, hardware, and software support, and installs attendant software. Interacts with employees to resolve employee technology needs, using tact and diplomacy. Pay rate: $20.00/hr.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide Tier I level Helpdesk support to employees for laptops, desktops, thin clients, telecommunications, peripherals, and software:
· Investigates hardware and software problems.
· Perform account unlocks and password resets.
· Support users, troubleshoot and maintain functionality for all copy machines and printers.
· Support users, troubleshoot and maintain functionality of all mobile and desktop phones.
· Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.
· Perform the build, configuration and deployment of computer hardware and software for upgrades and new hires in compliance with departmental procedures.
· Install new and maintain existing desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
· Monitor existing systems.
· Assist in hardware collection and data retention for terminated employees.
· Support IT projects including hardware and software installations, testing and troubleshooting.
· Provide back-up and assistance to IT Manager on all IT functions.
· Assist IT Manager with process and procedure creation and documentation.
· Maintain IT asset records and IT documentation.
· Rotates on-call coverage.
· Various other duties as assigned, based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
· A High School diploma or GED, minimum.
· Computer savvy with a passion for technology
· Strong customer service skills and desire to work with people in-person, by phone and by email.
Desired Qualifications
· Above-average knowledge of computer systems/networks a plus.
· Above-average knowledge of MS Office 365, and MS Windows 10, a plus.
· Microsoft Server 2012/2016/2019 experience a plus.
· Active Directory experience a plus.
· Experience with cloud technologies a plus.

Additional Information:
· Must be authorized to work in the US
· Work location - Centennial, CO office
· Must be able to commit a Monday – Friday workweek with regular on-call and occasional weekend work.
· Rotates on-call coverage.
· Majority of time requires sitting, bending at neck, waist, legs, and arms; twisting body; and changing positions at will. Occasional driving, standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
· Exertion of 5-50 pounds of force frequently, up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
· Requires repetitive motions with hands and fingers such as keyboarding, use of telephones, cell phones, etc.
· Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
· Noise level in work environment is moderate.
· Work requires close attention to detail and accuracy and is varied in nature with regular interruptions.
· Work is subject to irregular hours.
Working Conditions:
Office setting 95% of the time. 5% of the time may need to work in a support role outdoors, in a warehouse or maintenance environment (dust, uneven surfaces and varying weather and temperature conditions.
