What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP Portal Developer with Web Design/Developm position at Johnson Technology Systems Inc?
SAP NetWeaver Portal developer with web design/development experience preferred:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop new web based applications using the latest web technologies as supported in the environment
• Design web based applications to optimize user experience
• Integrate and develop web applications with SAP, SharePoint and enterprise applications
• Develop and support SAP portal applications and iViews
• Facilitate and participate in user demos of development units.
• Gather requirements for new development objects from Users and convert them into Technical Designs.
• Assist by providing time estimates of the assigned project tasks and report any estimate changes.
• Provide technical assistance in debugging end user issues as needed.
• Work with vendors and internal parties to troubleshoot and fix data interfaces.
• Unit test and debug new program changes for all types of development objects.
• Participate in cutover activities during the Go-Live phase.
• Participate and facilitate the post Go-Live support activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years of experience in web development
• At least 3 years of experience in using development tools such as SAP NWDS Eclipse, git, etc.,
• At least 2 years of experience developing on SAP NetWeaver Java portal developing Java applications and portal iViews
• At least 3 years of experience in developing with the web development in such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Java, JQuery, Node.js, and ODATA
• Experience with developing for mobile platforms is highly desired
• Experience developing applications in an SAP environment using > SAPUI5/Fiori is a plus.
• Excellent overall web design skills with keen understanding of usability, performance and security
• Self-starter with ability and motivation to learn new skills on the job is a must.
• Should have added at least 1 new significant development skill in the last 18 months.
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• SAP certification and CompTIA Security required
• US Citizen with Security clearance
