Role Description:
The Senior Basis Admin role is to manage all aspects of the SAP landscape. Administrative functions may include upgrades, system/component installation, installation of patches and Support pack stacks, landscape maintenance, transport management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting issues. Responsible for BASIS functions and responsibilities related to sustainment teams several SAP systems types, including ECC, BW, PI, Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, and Business Objects.
The role would consist of:
- Work with Application and Technical teams to solve day to day operations incidents and requests
- Responsible to help support installations, upgrades and configuration of multiple SAP systems, databases and associated technologies
- Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting of the Basis component of the SAP system and associated technologies
- Environment Migration Support to include moving objects between environments within an SAP landscape
- Performance monitoring of the SAP system
- Responsible for working with members of different teams to address and resolve any issues or problems
- Responsible for assisting with SAP installations, patches, refreshes, backups
- Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting
- Responsible for assisting with transport management
