We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter / Human Resource Assistant to join our team. This role supports HR operations, including recruiting, timekeeping, employee relations, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive workplace culture are essential for success in this role.
Office Hours: First Shift: Typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:00
Pay: Based on Experience
Duties
Education: High school diploma or GED required. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is desirable.
Experience: 2 years HR experience and recruiting experience required. Experience in Manufacturing HR is a plus.

Duties
- Recruitment and On-Boarding: Assist with screening candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing new hire documents, and coordinating orientation.
- Prepare and process employee paperwork
- Manage employee attendance program
- Employee records management: Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and physical files
- HRIS reporting
- Support employee inquires and policy interpretation.
- Assist in employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives and other management directed work-related tasks.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is desirable.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels in the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Experience in Paylocity or similar HRIS system a plus.
- Previous recruiting experience required.
- Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
