Summary
To provide instruction in the specific content area of Phlebotomy.
- Develop curriculum and performance objectives.
- Provide individualized and safety instructions.
- Provide Employability skills and promote career awareness.
- Must possess good communication skills and work well with adult learners.
- Monitor lab supplies and classroom, lab and clinical requirements.
- Monitor student clinical progress throughout the program.
- Maintain records and follow state requirements for the program.
- Must be able to work flexible instruction hours as needed.
- Must meet clinical agency vaccine, drug and criminal background requirements.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications

Education Minimum: AAS in health-related field or Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited agency.
Education Preferred: Bachelor degree in health-related field.
Experience Minimum: Two years current Phlebotomy Technician work experience or health related.
Experience Preferred: Five years full time phlebotomy technician work experience or health related.
One year teaching experience preferred.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detail, as well as written and oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
