36 / 48 schedule

General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. I can start the traveler any Sunday that you can complete the compliance documents by the deadline.

Please include in the confirmation : 16 hours of nonbillable orientation.

Hospital can cancel / call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36 / 36 or 36 / 48 schedule if there is a decrease in census.

Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease / decreased resource need without penalty.

Contract RN / LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.

Job Requirements

AHA BLS - Basic Life Support (Required for any candidate with patient contact)

AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)

NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (Required)

State License Verification (Required)

NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) (Required)

Education Verification (Required)

Background Check (Required within 30 days of start)

EPLS / GSA / SAM (Required within 30 days of start)

HHS / OIG (Required within 30 days of start)

References (Ballad Health will accept 2 references, but prefer 3)

Skills Checklist 1 (Required)

TN Abuse Registry (Required if candidate is licensed or certified in TN or will be working at a TN facility)

Schedule Information

Traveler’s permanent residence must be 100 miles or >

from the hospital’s service area.

Unit Details : Candidates must review unit-specific requirements and certifications.

Check Unit Description to verify certifications required. AHA only (Instructor or Provider); RQI accepted

TIME SENSITIVE - Must be completed within 48 hours of signed contract.
