Job Summary and Qualifications
- Performs routine, sleep, portable, CDS, EMGs and EP studies on adult and pediatric patients according to Policies and Procedures.
- Ensures that quality patient care is provided within the defined area of accountability.
- Assures all records are available for physicians to read on a daily basis.
- Obtains pertinent patient history; including neurological and psychological screening.
- Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment used in the EEG/EMG/EP lab.
- Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
- Submits activity reports as requested.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION
- Graduate of a recognized EEG school - preferred
EXPERIENCE
Six months experience in EEG - required
