This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a dedicated Night Shift Medical Technologist. The role involves working from 10 : 00pm to 6 : 30am with rotating weekends at Johnston-Willis Hospital, which is part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.

If you are passionate about creating positive patient interactions and have the knowledge and expertise to excel as a Medical Technologist, we want you on our team!

As a Medical Technologist, you will perform laboratory tests in various specialty departments, including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. Your role will be crucial in providing data for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Daily responsibilities involve conducting complex analyses of tests and documenting results.

You will manage specimen reception and storage, troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and document any corrective actions taken.

Ensure quality control is performed accurately and adhere to proper department procedures for quality assurance.

You will be involved in training new employees and participating in phlebotomy.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field.

MT registry or eligibility, with successful completion of MT registry required within 6 months of hiring.

ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred.
