Job Summary and Qualifications

Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT procedures.

Conduct quality assurance procedures and maintain equipment in the hot lab.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of department equipment.

Complete all procedures efficiently from start to finish, including documentation for interpretation.

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Communicate procedures clearly to patients and address any questions.

Administer IVs competently.

Schedule and manage radiotherapy procedures, including documentation.

Handle radiopharmaceuticals according to standard protocols and regulations.

Ensure radiation safety practices are followed at all times.

Perform routine radiation surveys and respond to any detected contamination.

Utilize hospital medical records systems and maintain department organization.

Fulfill continuing education and certification requirements.

Assist in maintaining accreditation standards.

Rotate through all departments as part of a collaborative team.

Participate in student education and training.

Complete additional tasks as required by supervisory staff.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology. Licensed as ARRT-N or CNMT, with continuing education as required.

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (within 6 months of hire).

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
