Responsibilities
The responsibilities of Inventory Operations Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on inventory best practices and system usage
- Support the implementation of inventory management systems and processes
- Maintain SOPs for inventory handling and tracking
- Provide support and training for freight claims
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory-related issues such as stock discrepancies and supplier discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels, identify surplus, track discrepancies, and propose corrective measures
- Implement inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage and maintain optimal stock levels
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to align inventory management with demand forecasts
- Develop and implement warehouse, showroom layout, and staging areas
- Conduct regular inventory audits at branch locations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings, and recommendations to management
- Train branch staff on RF related processes and best practices for managing inventory
- Assist in the implementation of new inventory systems and technology upgrades
- Train and test new hires on warehouse processes, equipment, and safety policies
- Review with branch staff all warehouse and inventory related reports, explain the action needed and provide action plans
- Recognize areas of opportunity in training and address how to improve efficiencies and performance

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in inventory operations, supply chain, or warehouse management
- Excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills to drive operational improvements
- Ability to travel throughout the New England Region
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Eclipse
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Skill in proactively communicating (both verbal and written) to establish relationships and influence decisions
- Skill in using critical thought to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
- Strong leadership, motivation, and managerial skills

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software
