Johnstone Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Associate for our Peoria IL store. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, energetic team member, wanting to move up within a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders, quotes and other requests promptly and providing follow-up within the time frame requested by the customer.
- Listening and asking probing questions to properly assess customer needs
- Providing the best product and/or service solution to solve customer problems.
- Increasing sales at the Peoria Branch whenever possible
- Participating in all store activities necessary to ensure the store is clean, organized and operating at optimum efficiency
- Accurately fills customer orders, prepares them for customer pick up or delivery, and notifies the customers when the orders are ready
- Accurately labels, stocks, and locates product within the companies operating system
- Operating hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts
- Utilizing all training resources to learn and maintain proficiency on company products, services, operating procedures and specific computer application
- Works with speed, accuracy and a positive attitude in a fast paced environment.
All candidates must pass a background and drug screen prior to employment.
Salary : $20 - $26
