With our continued growth, we're seeking a Retail Marketing Manager to join our Brand Marketing team in our Morgantown, PA offices, located just a mile off PA Turnpike exit 298.
The Retail Marketing Manager will support our retail partners by implementing and managing trade marketing initiatives, both in-store and digital. Your focus will be enhancing brand visibility, contributing to brand growth, and fostering strong relationships with retail partners to ensure Joie’s success in the market. We seek someone who thrives in a start-up environment and can think holistically about all aspects of retailer marketing for a brand that is new to the North American market. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is passionate and eager to contribute to brand growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning & Communication
- Collaborate with Sr. Brand Director to plan and execute trade marketing strategies designed to support retail partner success.
- Launch marketing campaigns and product introductions that adhere to brand strategy and sales goals.
- Create and implement a cohesive communication framework and content plan, collaborating with sales and account services to ensure effective messaging of product and campaign launches.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all retail channels, working closely with internal teams to align efforts.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to identify opportunities and challenges and adjust plans accordingly.
- Create competitor analysis and provide recommendations on product marketing within our retailer space.
In-Store Support
- Project manage the in-store display development process end-to-end including creative requests, internal and retail partner design approvals, vendor sourcing and communication, and display production.
- Collaborate with National Account Merchandising Manager to understand display execution performance and work to improve the brand’s presentation in our key account, Target.
- Collaborate with sales, brand, and creative on all new in-store display needs for emerging accounts.
Digital Support
- Collaborate with our retail partners for annual digital campaign planning.
- Work with Brand Manager to ensure that direct and retailer campaigns are aligned and consistent in strategy and messaging.
- Participate in keyword research, campaign briefing, sample provision, and asset planning as needed to support retailer digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales/ecommerce team to understand precise product launch timing and take the lead to initiate launch of new products on available digital ad channels with our retailers.
- Monitor and optimize the brand’s digital campaign performance with our retail partners.
- Provide regular (monthly) reporting on campaign performance to Sr. Brand Director along with insights and recommendations for improvements as needed.
Other
- Forecast budget for all trade marketing activities alongside Sr. Brand Director and monitor for budget adherence throughout the year.
- Research, compare, and manage vendor relationships related to the execution of customer-specific needs, such as printed assets and POS materials.
- Develop best practices to streamline department processes.
- Provide general departmental support on special initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the Sales, Ecommerce and Brand Marketing teams to ensure effective campaign execution.

Requirements and Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of professional experience in marketing or related field.
- Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in B2B marketing environment is a plus.
- Experience working with Target as a brand partner, or at Target headquarters is a plus.
Technology
- Technology Savvy and proficient in using MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Project Management software; Wrike and/or Asana preferred.
- Ability to learn new software with ease.

- Travel: Domestic and international up to 15% as business needs warrant to include periodic travel to regional markets for events and research.
