JOB OBJECTIVES:
Led and managed the eCommerce distribution team to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Oversee the entire selection, shipping, inventory management, and procurement process, ensuring adherence to operational standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction goals. Resolve discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and continuously optimize workflows for improved performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Direct, inspire, and support the eCommerce distribution team to consistently meet order fulfillment targets, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of service.
- Proactively identify and resolve order selection, shipping, and inventory management issues. Ensure operational workflows are streamlined and continuously improved.
- Enforce safe operating procedures for all material handling equipment. Ensure compliance with company safety guidelines and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate team training, ensuring staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and safely. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth.
- Monitor eCommerce customer accounts and KPIs to ensure account health, resolve customer issues, and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any shipping discrepancies. Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence and ensure continuous improvement in accuracy.
- Oversee the ordering, inventory management, and receipt of all shipping materials, including boxes, labels, and other packaging supplies. Ensure adequate stock levels to avoid delays and disruptions in order fulfillment.
- Provide regular feedback to team members and ensure clear communication regarding expectations, goals, and corrective actions.
- As needed, perform additional tasks that require skills comparable to your main responsibilities, supporting other areas of the operation as directed.
- Ensure the work environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot and Report Issues - Monitor daily workflows, identify job difficulties, resolve problems, and report abnormal situations to management on time.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively direct the team, collaborate across departments, and interact with customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle ERP or similar warehouse management systems.
- Basic math skills to accurately handle inventory, order quantities, and shipment calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and operational efficiency.
