At Cardinal Aluminum we are looking for a driven and experienced Technical Services Manager with expertise in aluminum extrusion and/or anodizing to join our innovative and fast-paced team! In this pivotal role, you will lead cutting-edge technical support, elevate customer service, and manage impactful projects related to our extrusion and anodizing processes. Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the technical services team, ensuring exceptional support for both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide expert technical guidance on aluminum extrusion, anodizing processes, product design, and application, offering solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop and implement solutions that align with customer specifications and expectations.
• Deliver training sessions and workshops for clients and staff on aluminum extrusion techniques and product applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to extrusion and anodizing processes promptly to minimize downtime.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust and ensuring long-term satisfaction with products and services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in the aluminum extrusion and/or anodizing industry, with a focus on technical services or engineering.
- Strong understanding of aluminum extrusion processes, anodizing, materials, and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical software and tools related to aluminum extrusion, product design, plant layout.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Bilingual English/Spanish – Preferred
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Application - Preferred
