What You’ll Do
- Oversee the daily operations of our mobile plasma collection units, ensuring they are fully functional, staffed, and operational 7 days a week
- Take full ownership of the health of the fleet. You will oversee the preventative maintenance, build processes to ensure the team operating the mobile unit are operating the asset correctly, and be the first line of defense on how to trouble shoot mechanical issues
- Oversee and iterate on our processes for plasma collection in our mobile collection units. You will work with our experts in the plasma space to find the best way to bring our standardized practices to our mobile operations
- Work cross-functionally with clinical teams, logistics, and vendors to keep mobile operations running smoothly
- Help build and monitor and report on key metrics related to fleet uptime, operational efficiency, and site performance
- Manage external partners and service providers for maintenance, transport, and support services – Everything from DOT inspections, to generator repairs, preventative maintenance, cosmetic repairs, and everything in between
- Travel across our mobile sites to ensure the processes you have built are being adhered to
- Dynamic problem solvers who have experience working in a start-up or experimental environment.
- Mechanical or fleet management experience, strong preference for working knowledge of trailer systems and automotive maintenance
- Ability to think strategically while staying grounded in day-to-day execution, we need to build processes as well as execute them.
- Strong process mindset with experience building or scaling operational SOPs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel regularly to visit sites and support operations as needed
- Experience in plasma collection, mobile healthcare, bioservices, or clinical operations
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, trailer-based systems (e.g. HVAC, power), or mobile unit setup
- Experience with fleet management software (e.g. Samsara, Fleetio, Verizon Connect)
