Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates earn a starting hourly rate of $15 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement of $0.67 per mile driven. With mileage reimbursement, our average Delivery Associate earns between $20 - $25 / hour.
Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates are W2 positions, not contract gigs. That means drivers working 40 hours or more per week are entitled to (and deserve!) health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and an employer-matched 401(k).
Here's what you'll do on a typical day....
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely manner.
- Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from clients.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and customer communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.)
- Train new drivers as needed (demo loading procedures, using OnFleet, ride-along, etc.)
- Complete Yoobic training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures.
- Assist in-store between delivery runs.
Requirements :
Delivery experience is a plus, but not required. However, a positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required. Tomlinson’s delivery drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have :
