POSITION SUMMARY
Joink is seeking a motivated and independent Sales Development Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting Joink services at various events, sourcing and recommending new opportunities, and driving lead generation to meet or exceed defined sales targets. This role requires confidence in public interactions, a strong sense of organization, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a structured approach to sales follow-ups and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Identify, research, and recommend potential event opportunities within targeted markets.
2. Prepare, transport, set up, and dismantle display/booth equipment at sales events.
3. Represent Joink professionally and positively at public-facing events.
4. Engage attendees to educate them on Joink offerings and generate quality leads.
5. Maintain an organized system for tracking sales leads and follow-ups.
6. Meet or exceed defined sales targets through effective customer interaction and lead conversion.
7. Prepare and deliver regular reports summarizing event performance, leads generated, and outcomes.
8. Work independently and manage responsibilities without direct supervision.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, engaging demeanor.
· Strong self-motivation and ability to manage time efficiently.
· Attention to detail in organizing events and following up with leads.
· Proficient in or willing to learn basic CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.
· Reliable and dependable with strong organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service preferred.
· Must have reliable transportation to attend off-site events; mileage provided for use of personal vehicle.
· Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
· Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to a Joink office (Currently within Illinois: Taylorville, Hillsboro; Indiana: Terre Haute)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
· Primarily event-based with travel to and from various venues.
· Primarily Wednesday – Sunday, with occasional activities on Monday and/or Tuesday
· Three to four events per week; two to four hours per eventPHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Must be able to spend extended hours using a computer/keyboard and/or phone.

· Must have the ability to set up event equipment, including lifting, assembling, and dismantling display booths (up to 20 lbs).
