Summary About the Position : This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Joint Interagency Task Force South, Command Group, Protocol Office, U.S. Southern Command, Key West, FL, 33040-CGOOP. Responsibilities Seeks, identifies, and develops opportunities and oversees planning of, coordination and execution of complex protocol support. Determines program budget goals and develops directives, plans, and procedures for implementation and compliance. Develop new methods and procedures for protocol program including establish precedent and capture incorporation of lessons learned. Participates in meetings, working group sessions and other venues with a broad range of US and international organizations to develop expanded opportunities for international cooperation in counter drug operations.
