Summary About the Position : This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USCYBERCOM - Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities Advises Division Chief and assumes leadership responsibilities as delegated and directed. Oversees and manages work through subordinate team leads and supervisors. Advises CNMF personnel for interactive on-network operations (ION) in support of USCYBERCOM missions and delivers risk assessment and mitigation on all technical / analytical activities involving CNMF operations. Conducts risk assessment and mitigation as it applies to tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) in the execution of all CNMF operations. Establishes and enforces standards associated with operator development and certification Trains and certifies operators and assists in the advancement of operator proficiency on various platforms. Serve as a principal lead for operational mission management and coordination with critical partners. Basic Requirement : Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below : To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe three-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) resolving difficult problems related to the integration, implementation, and sustainment of cyber systems and networks; 2) researching, maintaining, and enforcing policies and procedures and advising leadership related to cyber operations and / or mission execution; 3) exercising supervisory personnel management responsibilities that encompasses oversight, advisory capabilities and performance.
