In this role, you will ensure a seamless patient experience by managing insurance processes with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage details for new and existing patients.
- Collaborate with front office staff and therapists to ensure a smooth intake process.
- Obtain pre-authorizations and confirm coverage for services as required.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of insurance verifications and authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and any out-of-pocket responsibilities.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance verification or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with medical insurance policies and billing practices is a plus.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
