JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the EESISP Supervisors, under close supervision, the EESISP Associate will perform various duties including but not limited to:
- Schedule independent medical exams (360 exams annually).
- Send ADR-1’s (first notice of claim) to the Workers’ Compensation Board (1000-1200 annually).
- Send accident confirmation and claim numbers to the employer and employee (1000-1200 annually).
- Input Workers’ Compensation Board claim numbers on EESISP claims when received (1000-1200 annually).
- Verify and update member’s address in File handler claims system (annually 1000-1200).
- File and send WCB documents (C-6’s, C-7’s, C-8’s and ADR-2’s) to members and/or the WCB (1000-1200 annually).
- Assist with 3rd party subpoena requests for records (10-20 monthly estimate) and input lawsuit closing statements into File handler (100 annually).
- Track, open and distribute incoming daily mail.
- Coding of certified payrolls.
- Process from the Accounting list the Stale Dated checks.
- Print, scan, and email certain screens for Sec 32 to WW&W.
- CMS reporting.
- Keep Overpayment list updated.
- Record third party invoice payments received. (175 annually).
- Assist in the relief of the receptionist with the telephones.
- Serve as back up to set up trustee meetings, mediation, and arbitration calendars, all held monthly.
- Review deceased members list from Annuity dept as well as the New Members’ Pension list
- Serve as back up for the PPD unit.
- Assist with other related projects or task as necessary.

This would require the ability to lift files, pull files/forms/books, stand, bending, shred documents, open/close filing cabinets as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time onsite 35 hours per week– Non-Exempt (OPEIU Local 153) position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM.
Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
