About the Role
We are seeking an outgoing and compassionate receptionist to join our team. As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role as the face of the office! You will work in tandem with our administrative and clinical staff to deliver the best experience to our patients. We are looking for someone with a positive and energetic attitude who genuinely cares about our patients and team members. Location: Joint Relief Insitute
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Scanning papers and documents and uploading them to practice EMR or wherever appropriate.
- Checking in patients and greeting them in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Making patient appointments.
- Collecting copays.
- Tracking wait time in the waiting area.
- Maintaining a clean lobby that is stocked with essentials for our patients.
- Data entry of patient demographics and proper documentation in practice EMR.
- Supporting the office with all other administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Effective communication and elevated attention to detail.
- Comprehension of MS Office, with working knowledge of healthcare management systems, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite products.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus!
