JRAD is seeking a Basic Contract Specialist to provide pre- and post-contract management support for Research and Development (R&D) assistance agreements and Other Transactions (OTs) for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
Roles / Responsibilities :
This role requires foundational knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and experience managing contracts in support of innovative R&D initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Award Contract Support :
- Assist in drafting and developing R&D assistance agreements and OT contracts.
- Conduct initial market research to identify contracting opportunities.
- Prepare solicitation documents and evaluate proposals for compliance with requirements.
- Support contract negotiation activities.
Post-Award Contract Management :
Compliance and Risk Management :
Documentation and Reporting :
Required Skills and Education :
Security Clearance :
