JRAD is seeking candidates for a Senior Systems Engineer position supporting the Joint Project Manager for CBRN Sensors (JPM CBRN S). This is a part time (.25 FTE) position with the Robotics and Platform Integration (RPI) Team in support of the NBCRV SSU program.
Roles / Responsibilities :
- Provide systems engineering analysis and technical expertise to the Product Manager for the Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle Sensor Suite Upgrade (NBCRV SSU) program, the functional support staff, and integrated product teams (IPTs).
- Facilitate the conduct of systems engineering technical processes, per the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG), including requirements analysis and flow down, associated development of and updates to Performance Specifications (PSpecs) and architectures, assessment of vendor allocated baselines, conducting systems engineering trade studies, maintaining traceability of requirements using Requirements Traceability & Verification Matrices, providing value-added recommendations for the program technical strategy and incorporating them into the System Engineering Plan (SEP).
- Provide input to leadership (i.e., PM and lead test engineer) and prepare command-level briefings that include :
Identifying and defining required tests
