Joint School District No. 171 is seeking a part-time Secondary Teacher to start immediately in the 2024-2025 school year.
Job Summary: To provide students with a daily and ongoing instructional program that will provide for them the best possible academic knowledge and skills. To promote academic, social and citizenship development through leadership and classroom supervision.
Job Description: Idaho Teaching Certificate required or the ability to obtain one within three (3) years. Secondary ELA or All Subjects K-8 endorsements preferred. Must have strong background in teaching methods, developmentally appropriate classroom activities and effective classroom management. Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching methods. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Work well with students, staff and the public. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
