Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Seasonal Employees to join our team for the upcoming busy season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and are passionate about providing excellent customer service. As a Seasonal Employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience while assisting with various store operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
- Support promotional activities and seasonal displays to enhance customer engagement.
- Make sandwiches & subs, wait on deli customers, prep and handle bakery items and grab & go items including hot foods, coffee station, etc...
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interactions.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, during the busy season.
