Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times effectively.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist in managing the dining area to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information.
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- A proactive approach to helping guests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
